Introduction
From 24 July to 9 August 2026, De Parade transforms the Martin Luther Kingpark into a travelling theatre fair, with dozens of short performances in tents, food and drink, and a warm summer-evening atmosphere.
De Parade is a much-loved travelling theatre festival that pitches up in Amsterdam each summer. The grounds fill with tents staging short theatre, music and circus acts, surrounded by food stalls, bars and a carousel — you wander, pick a show, and soak up the atmosphere between performances.
Why visit
It's a relaxed, atmospheric night out: buy a ticket per show and graze across the programme. Evenings are busiest and most magical once the lights come on.
