The business district along the A10 has grown a real food scene — rooftop dining, schnitzel halls and chef-driven kitchens between the towers.

For years the Zuidas was somewhere Amsterdammers worked and left. That's changing fast: the strip between station Amsterdam Zuid and the RAI now houses serious restaurants alongside the law firms — fire-driven chef's tables, rooftop dining with the widest views in the city, and comfort kitchens that fill with suits at noon and neighbours at night. The district is compact and walkable, built around the station on the Noord/Zuidlijn, with the green Beatrixpark tucked surprisingly close behind the towers. Come at dusk, when the offices empty and the restaurants take over, and you'll see the newest version of Amsterdam — one that looks nothing like the postcards and eats better every year.
