AFAS Live

In the Johan Cruijff ArenA area in Amsterdam Zuidoost, AFAS Live is a large, modern concert hall purpose-built for big-name touring acts. With a capacity in the thousands, it's a step up from the city-centre venues for major international shows.

The sightlines and sound are built for arena-scale concerts, and the surrounding ArenA Boulevard has plenty of bars and food before and after a show.

Expect major international touring artists at full production scale — big shows, strong sound and a large, energetic crowd. It's a destination for a specific gig rather than a drop-in venue, so you'll go because a particular act is playing.

It's easily reached by metro and train to Bijlmer ArenA, a short walk away. Shows here are often sold out well in advance, so book ahead and plan your journey back.
