Introduction
On 1 July 2027 Amsterdam commemorates and celebrates the abolition of slavery with Keti Koti, including events in Oosterpark.
Keti Koti ('broken chains') starts with a commemoration at the National Slavery Monument in Oosterpark, followed by a festival with music, food and culture.
