Introduction
The Canal Parade is the highlight of Pride Amsterdam: dozens of decorated boats sail along the Prinsengracht and Amstel.
Hundreds of thousands of people line the canals to watch the boats pass. It is free, but very crowded — arrive early.
The parade is traditionally held on the first Saturday of August. Check the official Pride website for the final date.
