Bourbon Street

Just off the Leidseplein on the Leidsekruisstraat, Bourbon Street has been a fixture of Amsterdam's live-music scene for more than three decades. Founded as a blues and jazz joint, it now spans funk, soul, folk and rock, with live acts every single night until the early hours.

There's usually a small cover at the door, and the atmosphere is loose and friendly, with a stage close enough to feel the music. Musicians often drop by to jam late.
