Club NYX

On the Reguliersdwarsstraat, Club NYX is the beating heart of Amsterdam's LGBTQ+ nightlife. Named after Nyx, the Greek goddess of the night, and the successor to the legendary Exit club, it spreads over three floors, each with its own bar and DJ playing anything from pop anthems to underground beats.

It's famously open-minded and inclusive — everyone is welcome — with a young, trendy, expressive crowd. Expect drag performances, themed nights and queer parties, with Thursdays leaning student, Fridays open-minded and Saturdays a big queer night.

What to expect

Expect a high-energy, celebratory club where each of the three floors has a different vibe, so you can wander to find your sound. It's loud, colourful and joyful — a place to dance rather than have a quiet drink.

It's open Thursday to Saturday into the early hours, busiest after midnight at weekends. It's central on the Reguliersdwarsstraat near Rembrandtplein, surrounded by other LGBTQ+ bars for an easy night out.
