Amsterdam's bike network is superbly signed, but we'd still follow along on a maps app — every route here sticks to well-marked bike paths.

Most routes are short and completely flat; only the Amstel and Waterland rides ask for a bit more distance. The land is flat, so wind is your only "hill".
