Run by a couple who cook and host like they're welcoming you into their home, Addis Ababa keeps things simple and does them beautifully: order the Addis Ababa Special — a sprawling platter of meats, lentils, vegetables and cottage cheese on soft, freshly made injera — add a banana beer or African mango juice, and you're done deciding. Vegetarians get equal care, kids are handled warmly, and the owners' community work back in Ethiopia is worth asking about. Evenings only; a modest room with an oversized heart.
