Café de Ceuvel
Circular, plant-based waterside café built on a cleaned-up shipyard — Noord's creative conscience with genuinely bold cooking.

De Ceuvel started as a sustainability experiment — old houseboats hoisted onto a polluted shipyard, soil-cleaning plants between them — and grew into one of Noord's most loved hangouts. The kitchen is fully plant-based and far more ambitious than the recycled-timber setting suggests: bold flavours, clever small plates, desserts with actual depth. The waterside terrace is the draw on warm days, the workshop-like interior does the job the rest of the year, and you can work on a laptop until early evening. Tuesday to Sunday only; come for lunch and let it slide into drinks.
