QV is the Beethovenstraat's low-key counterweight: no scene, no sittings, just a broad and well-chosen wine list poured by the glass, boards of cheese and charcuterie, flammkuchen and sweet-potato fries to keep the table going. The kitchen is deliberately supporting-cast — come for the wine, order food as ballast — and prices stay neighbourhood-fair for the postcode. Terrace seats catch the street's early-evening parade. The right address when the rest of the street feels like too much production.
